Mary K. Yap Foundation of family member donors, San Francisco Bay Area donors held fund-raising activities once a year since 2001 in Daly City of the United States of America with the intention of helping the orphanages of different states and divisions in Myanmar.
On 18th July, 2009, Mary K. Yap Foundation of family member donors, San Francisco Bay Area donors had celebrated the 8 th Collective Annual Charity for the orphans of Diocese Church which located Loikaw township, in Kayah State. These church is providing caring 2,500 children and we donated US 9,000 $ to this church for them to provide to buy foods especially 4,000 bags of rice on 14th January 2010. On 16th Nov, 2015, our Vice Chair and Secretary of Mary K. Yap Foundation, Mr. Peter K. Yap, was enraptured donated about US 350 $ (MMK 3.5 Lakhs) for providing the 188 orphans from this orphanage to St. Gerosa's Convent which located in Loikaw, Kayah State.
