Mary. K. Yap foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to bettering the lives of orphaned children. Mary K. Yap foundation and family members, San Francisco Bay area donors held fund-raising activities once a year since 2001 in Daly City of the United States of America with the intention of helping the orphanages of different states and divisions in Myanmar.

As annual fundraising activities sponsored by San Francisco and Bay Area Donors, they gave away 2000 USD for the orphanage of St. Francis of Assisi in Yangon on 28th January 2002. Due to the Rev.Fr.Peter health conditions, the orphans had been kept in the Boarding school for their studies. However, with the help of our donations, all children will be back under one roof to stay in the parish.

The second donation in the same month of our foundation was contributing 2000 USD to an orphanage in St.Francis’ Convent. Due to the unexpected situations, the orphans under their care are scattering into different missions. But, the donation of 2000 USD will be in great help to continue to be alive by recording as a deposit in the bank in accord with the donors’ wishes.

In Yangon Division was donating 8100$ to Mary Chapman School for the Deaf near of Thantaman street, Yangon on February 8th, 2013. The foundation hoped that this financial contribution will help to needy and deserved children with access to useful tools and educational blogs. Moreover, Peter. K. Yap and Elizabeth contributed clothes, food, shoes and 100 USD for Blessed Mary of the Passion Convert on behalf of Mary. K. Yap foundation on Aug 30, 2015. The heads of all orphanages expressed their deeply thanks for these humanitarian aid and significant donations.
On Dec 23rd 2016, U Peter, Vice President of Mary K. Yap Foundation, donated lunch, educational books, umbrellas, books of knowledge and literature and technology to Orphans of Myaittamon Shelter located at Mhawbi, Yangon Division on behalf of Mary K. Yap Foundation. And then for the betterment of children, foundation provided 5 Lakhs to Myittamon Shelter. On this day, we invited the Magician ‘Minn Let Yar’ to show his professional for the happiness of children as Christmas gift.
